Ingredients

  • 2 oz Old Tom Gin (or London Dry Gin)
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
  • 3–4 oz Soda Water
  • Lemon wheel and Maraschino cherry (for garnish)
  • Ice

Method

  • Combine the gin, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.
  • Fill a tall Collins glass with fresh ice cubes.
  • Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared Collins glass.
